Wax worms are a grub, they are 3/4" - 1" in size. These worms are basically used as a treat, to fatten a sick animal, or for a lizard that just laid eggs. They are considered a fat food. These worms are another worm you don't want to refrigerate as it shortens their life. If you can't feed them to your animals right away, we suggest using a cool room (such as a basement or closet). This will give you a week, possibly 2 weeks. Our worms are only cold in this way, never refrigerated.
